To provide education in Environmental Science as a department to create awareness and ecological attitudes among the masses, particularly the student community of the society
In Assam, all Higher Secondary and colleges have started Environmental Science as a compulsory subject following the guidelines of the Supreme Court of India. This is the first Govt. initiative with regards to the introduction of the subject Environmental Science at college level in Assam. Therefore, PDUAM, Tulungia has opened the department with the view to provide education in Environmental Science as a department to create awareness and ecological attitudes among the masses, particularly the student community of the society, for mitigating the environmental challenges.
