Located on the scenic campus of PDUAM, Tulungia, the department has emerged as a prime element in enhancing the creativity and language proficiency of the students pertaining to English learning. The department conducts classes for the higher secondary course and communicative and functional English for the B.com. course.

The department frames lectures for language skill development and conducts tests at regular intervals. The faculty takes active part in extension programmes like personality development by organizing spoken English courses. It has provided value-based books to the college library. The department conducts audio-visual classes using the e-classroom. In order to reach out to the students, it aspires to build the confidence of the students by taking steps to enhance their interview skills and prepare them for competitive examinations. The department also envisages to organize inter-disciplinary lectures to look at the concurrencies of English with Commerce.
