Objective of the Department:
1. To provide quality education in the field of Botany and make the students acquire an in-
depth knowledge of the subject.
2. To help the students imbibe basic skills of identifying and labeling different plants and their
importance.
3. To sensitize the students towards the need for keeping the environment clean and conserve
the natural resources
4. To develop holistic approach towards understanding and contribution in the field of
botanical science.
5. To adequately equip the students for future research or to further pursue career in the
subject.
